Set it up
ni han bao works without setup. /setup changes a few things per server. Only members with Manage Server see it, and only you see its answers.
What to do
- Report channel:
/setup report-channel channel:#weekly-report. The bot posts the weekly report card there every Monday, and the monthly recap on the first of the month. Leavechannelout to turn both off. - Time zone:
/setup timezone timezone:Europe/Brussels. It decides when "today" and "this week" start, and when the report is posted. Use an IANA name, likeAmerica/New_York. The default is UTC. - Public totals:
/setup public-totals include:Falseleaves your server out of the totals on the public home page. They never show your server's name either way. - Rank roles:
/setup rank-roles state:ongives members who linked a League account a role for their tier, kept in sync. The bot needs Manage Roles, and its own role must be above the tier roles. - Check:
/setup showlists the settings.
What you should see
/setup show answers with the settings, and only you see it:
You used /setup show
ni han baoAPP
Weekly report card: #weekly-report
Time zone: Europe/Brussels
Public totals: left out
Rank roles: off (existing rank roles stay until you delete them)
Only you can see this
With a report channel set, the bot posts a report card there every Monday:
ni han baoAPP
Weekly report card: week of 2026-10-12
Report card's in. Sit down, we need to talk.

If you don't
- No
/setupin the command list: you need Manage Server. A server admin can change who sees it under Server Settings, Integrations, ni han bao. - "I cannot post in #channel": give the bot View Channel and Send Messages in that channel, then run the command again.
- "… is not a time zone": check the spelling against the IANA list, like
Europe/Brussels. - No report on Monday: check
/setup showfor the channel, and that the bot can still post there. Embed Links is needed for the card. - Rank roles answers with a problem: it says what to fix: the Manage Roles permission, or the bot's role must be above the tier roles (Server Settings > Roles).
Next: link your accounts.
